Been a tough few weeks!! Neither Dan nor I have had the energy to stay up and write after getting the kids down!! My secondTACE procedure really knocked me down. Three weeks later, I am still recovering and gaining my energy back though each day is better and brighter. I am concentrating on getting stronger for my next TACE on March 31st. After this last treatment, hopefully I am done with TACE procedures for a long time!!!! I don't know if they are done with me but i'm done with them!!! After my final liver treatment, we will again have to start addressing the cancer in my lungs and the "systemic" picture. I'm not exactly sure how this will occur but I'm pretty sure it will involve more poison mixed with some radiation. Kinda like groundhog day. In the meantime, enjoy the new pictures I posted, hug your loved ones, and keep my family in your prayers :) K

Hi Kristin, You don't know me, but I saw a link to your blog a while ago on a Facebook posting by Trish Bonner Dunbar. I have been wondering if you know about HopeWell Cancer Support. I teach there and do some other freelance work for them sometimes. It's a beautiful, peaceful place that offers something for just about every cancer survivor. There are support groups, groups for children whose parents (or grandparents) have been diagnosed with cancer, gentle movement classes such as yoga and qigong (I teach qigong there), and expressive arts classes. And everything is FREE! You can check them out at hopewellcancersupport.org. Or you could always write to me if you wanted to ask any questions. HopeWell is on Falls Road near near where 695 and 83 converge. It's on a 7-acre piece of land that includes an old Victorian house and an Amish-built barn, where many of the classes are held.
Love to you and your family.

The pics are great everyone of them. You are all so adorable. I really like the picture of Copper in his igloo. Great timing on that one.
I hope all goes well today. I love you all so much.
