Continuing to recover from my TACE procedure….Focused on staying strong and getting my energy back. The only real side effects I have are fatigue and pain. Not that the pain is very fun to experience, but I am very fortunate not to have severe nausea and sickness like some. I have maintained my appetite since the procedure and even made it to the annual Ulman fundraiser!
Dan and I attended the Ulman Cancer Fund annual fundraiser event last night. We had a blast at the blue jeans ball! It was a nice date with Dan and great to support the wonderful group that supports our family! The Ulman Fund has done many projects for our family and provided tons of positive support. I posted a picture of me with Paula and Suzanne, two wonderful volunteers who have helped us with many house projects and never forget to check up on me. They both won awards at the event for all the help they have provided to cancer survivors.

I hope to continue my recovery this week and hopefully prepare a little for my trip to Ann Arbor on the 10th. Hopefully I can resume driving this week so I can get back to the gym and take Luke to preschool. I miss the morning routine that helps keep my energy up.
Until next time, stay strong and never give up! K
